How they will be Developed

  1. Small mentor groups that provide accountability, discipleship and personal spiritual development.
  2. A supervised ministry work schedule that immerses them in a work environment where these character traits are lived out.
      • Interns will be exposed to the values and character qualities of that department and department head.
      • Interns will experience the day-to-day operations of the department.
      • Interns will experience the spiritual ministry and have a broad perspective of how the department functions      within the vision of COTK.
      • Interns will experience the various dynamics of ministry that each department experiences.
  3. Interns will have scheduled and supervised ministry activities.
  4. Interns will learn in classes taught through an inductive approach to learning. The classes will be in-depth enough to challenge them to be diligent students and practical enough that they can live what they learn.
  5. The internship will finish with a short term missions outreach to solid and reputable mission works where students will be immersed in a life-changing mission experience. Interns will return to the sending base and debrief. The cost of this mission outreach will be raised throughout the course of the program.
